5 TIPS FOR HOLIDAY TRAINING

When it comes to vacay time it’s always inevitable to eat a little more and train a little less. That is ok! Here are a few tips to keep you active and to make some healthy choice!



  1. Amp up your steps! Whether your in the tropics or hitting the slopes, aim to walk as much as you can while in your destination! This could be walking the 10 minutes into town instead of catching a cab!

  2. Engage in fun activities like swimming in the ocean, horse riding or learning how to snow board!

  3. If your accommodation has a gym, great! Aim to do a quick HIIT workout or 20 mins on the treadmill every second morning! It may not seem like training, however you’re still getting your body moving!

  4. If you don’t have a gym at your accommodation, pack some resistance bands in your suitcase! These body exercises can literally be done anywhere.

  5. In terms of the eating, don’t be too hard on yourself! If you are worrying about sticking within your calories, perhaps introduce intermittent fasting for your holiday! There are always healthy items on a menu that are able to be chosen to!


Remember, a holiday is to enjoy yourself! If you happen to gain a cm while you’re away, that’s totally fine!! Don’t take yourself to seriously and enjoy a mojito or two!
