Finding Motivation

We know this doesn’t always come easy. Getting out of bed some days can be a challenge in itself. I mean, staying cuddled up in your warm bed for an extra hour of shut eye does sound appealing, right?!


Taking the first step is always the hardest, however once you’re into routine, it becomes second nature and almost addictive! Side note: it takes 28 days to start a new habit!

Here are some of our fave tips to get yourself motivated!


1. Workout buddy

Organise a gym sesh or a book fitness class with a friend or a group of people. Training with friends who have the same or similar goal to you can significantly improve your motivation. They can help you to get to training and also push through a workout. Plus it is just another form of socialising, and who doesn’t love catching up with friends!




2. Set a goal

When you have a clear goal in mind, you know exactly what you’re working towards. Use the following rules to assist you in setting your goal.


  • Specific

  • Measurable

  • Achievable

  • Relevant

  • Time-bound


3. Plan your week ahead.

We pre-plan our beauty appointments, why not pre-plan our workouts! Looking after ourselves on the inside and out! If you feel good on the inside that will shine through on the outside. Remember, failing to plan is planning to fail


4. Quit the excuses and get started!!

As Nike preaches, JUST DO IT!!!


5. Manifest

You are capable of all of your wildest dreams! Whether it’s work related, health related, life related. If you can dream it, you can do it! Really imagine yourself where you want to be, reflect, meditate and use our tips above to really start conquering your dreams!
