STOP CHASING PERFECTION

With everything that is happening around us…

🍑 It’s ok that you ate over your calories while being stuck indoors

🍑 It’s ok to not to feel motivated to go for a walk or exercise

🍑 It’s even ok to have a bad day

Everyone is getting caught up on unrealistic expectations set by social media fitness influencers (who have more followers than knowledge), making you feel bad if you didn’t workout out, hit your daily macros or being as productive or motivated as they are in life. We’re in a unique situation where we have the ability to literally slow down and smell the roses! Right now, we’re in the perfect time to veg out if that is what we want!

It is perfectly normal for some days to wake up full of energy ready to take on the world, and other days you lack the energy or motivation. I used to have this idea in my head that if I wasn’t productive and motivated that I would fall back into old habits. I was too focused on short term goals instead of building long term habits.

This situation we are in is short term so if you want a bit or rest and relaxation.. do it! If you want to set yourself a new goal.. do it!

STOP sweating over the small stuff, STOP obsessing about why you haven’t lost fat or seen changes (especially with everything currently going on) STOP chasing perfection it doesn’t exist and just RELAX.

Be patient be consistent & most importantly be kind to yourself.
